Are you in Toronto this weekend? Looking for something to do this Saturday night? Comic Book Embassy is having its big opening bash! Artwork from Beauty and The Beast (by myself) and The Adventures of Adam Brochu (By Brice Hall) will be up in the gallery and there will be books and prints for sale!

There will be a drop-in  from 7:00 pm on past midnight, with snacks and drinks and a bunch of Toronto’s comic book folks, including our head instructor, writer/artist Ty Templeton (Spiderman, The Simpsons, etc. etc.) our co-ordinator letterer/colourist Keiren Smith (Planet of The Apes, Ed The Sock)  and, of course, the studio regulars, Brice, Sam, Savannah and Jai, as well as a million students from Ty’s Comic Book Bootcamp.

Unfortunately, I wont be there for most of the evening, but there should be some posters for sale, as well as some as-yet unreleased artwork from the comic —and we’re raffling off an original drawing!

Comic Book Embassy is located in the heart of Chinatown, at 392 Spadina Avenue, second floor. If you can’t make it, don’t worry! We’ll be hosting more events.
